Who can attend the meet-and-greets?
All meet-and-greets, with the exception of the clergy session on September 14 at Procter Center, are open to everyone.
Do I need to sign up for the meet-and-greets?
No sign-up or registration is required.
Can I attend more than one meet-and-greet?
Yes! Please attend as many meet-and-greet sessions as you like.
Will the meet-and-greets be livestreamed? Where can I watch them?
All meet-and-greets, with the exception of the clergy session, will be livestreamed on the diocesan website.
I want to attend but I need childcare. Will it be provided?
Yes! Please RSVP for childcare using this form by September 5 so we can be sure to have enough space and providers for the children who will attend each session.
How can I submit a question to be asked at the meet-and-greets?
The deadline to submit questions was August 21.
How will the questions be chosen?
The Transition Committee is grateful to everyone who submitted one of the 175 questions for the meet-and-greet events. The committee worked to find common themes and broad concerns among the submissions to ensure that as many questions as possible will be answered. Each meet-and-greet session will include different questions, and videos of all public sessions will be available for viewing on demand.
Will there be a chance to ask questions from the floor?
No — a moderator will ask nominees questions submitted before the August 21 deadline. In addition to introducing themselves, each nominee will answer the same set of questions. There will be an opportunity for attendees to meet the nominees for informal conversation and follow-up questions at the reception after the close of each meet-and-greet session.
